Purchasing will launch a new procure-to-pay solution! The Redbird Purchasing Portal (The Purch) will streamline and standardize the way we buy and pay for goods and services across the University, offering a single, user-friendly platform. This rollout aligns with our mission to embrace technologies that enhance efficiency, transparency, and compliance. The campus community can be assured that we have heard their requests to enhance the Procurement process. Here are some of the key features and benefits:

• Comprehensive Procure-to-Pay Solution: Enjoy an intuitive, robust end-to-end procure-to-pay, supplier management, and contract management system with mobile capabilities, automated receipt integration, streamlined approval functionalities, and compliance verification.
• Connecting Processes and Systems: A single solution for Contracts Management, Supplier Management, Procurement, and Accounts Payable needs eliminating the need for disconnected solutions in SharePoint, Colleague, Kuali, and offline forms.
• Contract Management Solution: Provides the ability to monitor and review contracts conveniently and provide notification of current term end dates to determine renewal options or next steps.
• Transparency and Tracking: The new system provides the procurement status in the workflow process, eliminating the back-and-forth communication between offices.
• Increased Efficiency: Reduce processing time and manual efforts with streamlined process and workflow automation. The system will ensure all requirements are met up front.
• Improved Compliance: Ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulatory requirements with built-in compliance checks.
• Supplier Collaboration: Foster better relationships and communication with suppliers through a centralized platform.

The Purch is scheduled to go live for Contracts Management and Supplier Management in early 2025, and eProcurement and Invoicing in Spring 2025.
